Stepping Into 2026 With Alignment

What It All Really Means for Me

2026 Isn’t About Doing More, It’s About Aligning Deeper

This year, I’m not chasing growth. I’m choosing alignment.

When I launched Brew and Blossom earlier this year, I was bursting with excitement. I wanted it to succeed, and that passion was beautiful but it also came with its challenges.

I found myself comparing: bigger agencies, other freelancers, accounts with thousands of followers and endless engagement. I questioned why my business didn’t look like theirs, and wondered if I was doing something wrong. I tried to learn everything and chase success as quickly as possible. I joined workshops, invested in training, and pushed myself to “do more.”

What I really needed, though, was patience for myself and for my business. Going out on your own comes with pressures: mental, financial, and personal. Learning to honour your pace is part of the journey.

in 2025 I built relationships, collaborated with amazing women on exciting ventures, and upskilled through online training. I sometimes felt the pull to post, educate, and create content not because I truly wanted to in that moment, but because I thought that was the only way to get noticed.

Alignment isn’t just about how your business feels

It shapes how clearly your message is heard, who recognises themselves in your work and who feels drawn to step closer.

Attending workshops helped me realise something important: as long as your message is clear and reaches the right people, your business will naturally be found. That brought me back to a word I keep returning to...alignment.

Alignment is a word that gets used a lot, but for me, it simply means this:

Your business should feel like you.

Your goals, values, messaging, and systems should all work together not pull you in different directions.

When things are aligned:

  • You stop second-guessing yourself

  • Your message becomes clearer

  • The right people start finding you

  • Your business feels calmer, not heavier

Without clarity, consistency can feel exhausting. When your message is rooted in who you are and what matters to you, showing up becomes simpler and more effective.

This is exactly why I love supporting women in business. They’re not broken, and their businesses aren’t failing. Often, it’s just a matter of being a little out of sync.

Sometimes life is busy. You’re a working mum, a young entrepreneur, juggling multiple responsibilities, or simply navigating business and personal life at full speed. It’s easy to run on autopilot and forget to check in with your own alignment including whether your message still reflects who you are and who you want to serve.

My Biggest Learning (And the One I Share Most)

I am not here for everyone and neither are you.

Those bigger agencies I once compared myself to? They weren’t my competition because they weren’t speaking to my people.

Most people create content for the audience already in front of them. Alignment asks a different question: Are these the people I want to continue building my business with?

I work with women who value intention, creativity, and connection. Women who want their business to grow but not at the cost of their wellbeing or values. When I allowed my business to fully reflect who I am, everything felt lighter. My message became clearer and the right people began to recognise themselves in my work.

Why 2026 feels different

As online spaces become louder and more crowded, depth matters more than volume. People aren’t looking for more information they’re looking for resonance, trust, and businesses that feel grounded and real.

As I move into 2026, I’m focusing on three key things:

  • Clear, realistic goals

  • Patience with my own pace

  • Deep alignment between my values, my message, and how I show up

This is the same approach I use when supporting other women in business whether that’s through branding, strategy, content, or gentle guidance on how to communicate who they truly are.

You don’t need to be louder. You don’t need to copy what everyone else is doing. You just need to be aligned.

At Brew and Blossom I help women build businesses that feel grounded, intentional, and true. Businesses that speak to the right people, businesses that grow in a way that feels sustainable, not forced, because success doesn’t come from doing more.

It comes from doing what matters in a way that feels right for you and if your business looks successful on the outside but feels slightly off on the inside, this isn’t a sign to push harder.

It may simply be an invitation to realign.

If you’re feeling called to realign, maybe this year is yours too.
